Why Won't My Trackers Charge From My Laptop?
If the tracker status lights do not show a charging indication (slow red pulse) when plugged into a laptop, it’s worth checking the following:
1) Some laptops do not provide charging capability via USB ports when in Standby/Sleep mode or when powered off. Try switching on the laptop then check to see if the status lights show a charging indication.
2) Some laptops cannot provide adequate power to charge multiple devices simultaneously. Try disconnecting other devices, then check to see if the status lights show a charging indication. If the trackers still aren’t charging, try connecting to a wall outlet or another device.
